A rural haven tucked away on the edge of the Cotswolds, The Artist’s House sits on the Great Tew Estate.
The cottage was originally Pam & John’s home and has now been fully renovated with a contemporary single storie extension, underfloor heating throughout and triple glazed windows. All the design and construction has been under taken by furniture designer John with Pam’s help. The Artist’s House has been transformed into a unique holiday let; ideal for those looking to escape to a countryside retreat.
A balance between contemporary and traditional cottage style, The Artist’s House can accommodate up to eight people, with wonderful views of the garden and surrounding rural views.
In walking distance from the nearest village, Swerford, The Artist’s House is just a 3-minute drive from the village of Great Tew and Soho Farmhouse. The ideal location for a tour of the Cotswolds, Daylesford Farmshop is a short drive away and offers a range of luxurious spa treatments and organic produce.
A car is vital in order to experience all that the area has to offer, however, there are two local train stations just twenty minutes from Field End. Banbury and Charlbury train station both offer regular services into London.
